The Gala Dinner Sub-Committee (Gala-SC)

In recognizing the supremacy of the gala dinner as the single most effective fundraising event for SCOPE-LeMSIC, a full dedicated subcommittee was created to deal with the difficult task of setting the dinner into a successful end.

This subcommittee merges with SCORE’s SC to form a cohesive and motivated whole. Annually, the most creative and enthusiastic members of both committees embark on the difficult challenge of organizing the “Perfect Gala”.

Responsibilities and activities vary from recruiting offers for the venues and hotels, to entering in contact and recruiting sponsors, to coming up with a inspired theme for the night and setting it up into practice. Also, one of its major tasks, is to film a 10-15 minutes movie or collection of clips that will add to the fun atmosphere of the Gala night.

After the hard organizing has been done, members dress up to impress, and welcome guests and doctors to our special night.

At the end of each Gala, all that is left of this SC, is good memories, nice group photos and the satisfaction of a work well done.
