SCORA-LEMSIC & THE OUTSIDE WORLD !
Though so far most of SCORA-LeMSIC's work has been at the national level, its regional and international work has been rising with an exponential speed.
• SCORA-LeMSIC and Local NGOs:
We have always worked in collaboration with the National AIDS Control Program in Lebanon as well as the Lebanese AIDS Society to build different projects, for our workshop and for giving lectures. Here we would like to thank them for their trust in us and help all these years.
• SCORA-LeMSIC and IFMSA:
Also twice a year one or more of our members' travel to the international General Assembly which is hosted by a different country each time. There they meet up with other members of the IFMSA and discuss different topics and participate in Workshops on scientific, medical or medically related topics. And of course we also work on our social skills to develop relations, frienshdips and partners for work with our international colleagues.
So far SCORA-LeMSIC members have helped in organizing workshops in these GAs and contributed to the international SCORA Manual.
• SCORA-LeMSIC and International NGOs:
Over the past few years, the pace of SCORA-LeMSIC's international projects has been rising and its connections increasing.
We were part of the Organizing Committee on the joint IFMSA-UNAIDS HIV/AIDS and Human Rights regional project held in Lebanon in June 2003 under the supervision of UNESCO/UNAIDS.
