Introduction to IFMSA
The International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), founded in 1951, is one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organizations. It represents, connects, and engages every day with medical students from 138 NMOs in 129 countries around the globe.
LeMSIC is a full National Member Organization in this federation. You can check LeMSIC’s contributions to IFMSA on this page.
IFMSA Annual Meetings
Each year Medical Students from the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), gather around to discuss their work, attend workshops, and set plans for the future of the federation, tackling issues related to global health, Medical Education, Public Health, Human Rights and Peace, Sexual and Reproductive Health, as well as Professional and Research Exchanges.
LeMSIC sends 3 delegations per term to these meetings: 2 for General Assemblies (March Meeting, and August Meeting) and 1 for the Eastern Mediterranean Meeting (EMR).
